Looking for suggestions on best practices regarding paper. We have a small digital print division and would like to improve our method of accounting for the paper we use in our printers.We do a weekly inventory on our various paper stocks. . For billing purposes we use a misc sales code and and make a manual adj to COGS.
We have decent accounting software that would allow us to either set an up various inventory items or set up as an inventory expense code.
