A special thanks to David Steinhardt and the Idealliace team for putting on a great show in Tucson. For what it's worth I thought I'd pass on a few observations and limit it to value.
I suspect anyone who attends an event like this has to consider their ROI both in terms or cash and time, since both are so valuable. After attending a few sessions it's clear that many organizations are dealing with similar challenges. Many of the breakout session were intimate enough to allow for pointed actionable solutions to challenges that have plagued many in the industry . While this doesn't guarantee an ROI, the open forum aspect of the sessions provided a proven road map to overcome many common challenges.
I couldn't help but think "I wouldn't want to compete with the people who attended this event!" I assume most of the people who attend these types of events are execution capable and those who are will be getting one hell of an ROI.
