Can we post a question to the Idealliance Open Forum.

We are investigating higher speed, 4.25” inkjet mailing systems. Can anyone give us some thoughts on a Kyocera UV system vs. a Kirk Rudy Phoenix UV system?

    Thanks,

    Mike,

I have had experience with both, I highly recommend thee Kirk Rudy consistent high speed, reliability, user friendly, and Kirk Rudy will custom fabricate on their new and used machines for any special needs you have

Not sure how helpful this will be as I don't have any experience with their UV equipment, but I run a conventional Kirk Rudy inkjet and I find their machines to be top notch and rock solid. When I have spoken to Kirk Rudy support I was talking to the person that built the machine, not some phone bank in India, and Scott at Cowart Gagnon has always been very helpful. We bought ours used, sight unseen at an auction and after some burps during install the only repairs needed in seven years was belt replacement.
Completely off topic, Justin Biggs is still the best digital operator I have ever worked with.
