I'd recommend Endicia. I have lots of customers that use it and give it great reviews.
You get a lot of the same functionality as Stamps, the same discounts, and better UI.

I am looking for advice on postage meters or online postage such as stamps.com. We typically work with a local mailing house on our client's large mailings.
