ISO 12647-2 only specifies the CMY sequence. The black can be run either first down or last down.

    hi,
if you are speaking about the 12647-2:2013, at point 4.3.1, says that the sequences shall be BCMY.
This indication was insert into the last version of the ISO Standard

1 - Conformance to an industry standard. For example, ISO 12647-2:2004 for process control in offset lithography standardizes the chromatic ink sequence to CMY – however, black is acceptable as either first or last down.

    Enriqué,

Unless something has changed in the latest version of ISO 12647-2, the black ink can be run first or last.

Yes, if you select "preserve black" in a DLP, there is a chance that color accuracy will be compromised s;ightly, especially if your black ink, or the one in the CRPC, is not perfectly neutral.
The same is true if you select "preserve pure colors" or any smiler option.

Don—Many DL settings also preserve primary tints and RGB secondaries, and even all builds over solid black, with progressively greater impact on color accuracy.
