Hi Joe-
You’re not alone, many printers in this group have no means of calculating postage or prepping data for a mailing. One of the primary goals of the postal service is getting more full service mail injected into the mail stream. To aid in this goal the USPS earlier this year created a new certification category for cloud based solutions that allow mail producers to use pay-as-you-go options that don’t require an annual stipend. A list of certified vendors can be found at the new postal pro site that’s replacing RIBBS – a list of certified vendors for both on-premise software and cloud vendors can be found here: https://postalpro.usps.com/node/248
While this doesn’t solve your insertion issue it may be a path to expand your offering to include mailing solutions that don’t require an upfront investment.
Best of luck.

Subject: May need mailing services provider
Hi all,
I have a job that I may need to outsource.
8,000 #10 envelopes with a #9 printed response envelope, letter and order form.
I can print it, but don't have any way to handle insertion or postage.
Suggestions?
Thanks!
