Chris, thanks for being a JobFlow user! Like Barbara mentioned, Pitstop is a wonderful and powerful tool with a somewhat steep learning curve. For that reason, we are developing a repository with "simple" Pitstop actions and preflight profiles with the purpose of including them with JobFlow. That way JobFlow users can use Pitstop without having to become Pitstop experts. Please reach out to me via
hans.sep@... so I can share an early version of that repository with you.

Enfocus Pitstop is a wonderful tool. Along with Acrobat, it is capable of accomplishing many effective prepress tasks. I'd suggest starting with reviewing some of the preexisting profiles. Enfocus has some available at:

I recently acquired Fiery's full version of JobFlow. This version allows for Pitstop integration of automation sequences. The system seems intuitive and fairly easy to setup but I am having some challenges developing the ideal automation sequence in Pitstop. Does anyone out there have a Pitstop profile that works well for things like adding bleed to a file that doesn't have the bounding boxes set properly, knocking out white objects, converting text to outlines, etc.? What are the best practices here?
