  • 1.  PRC Rate Review Process

    As most of you know the PRC (Postal Regulatory Commission) has begun the process of reviewing PAEA (Postal Accountability and Enhancement Act) that has governed the postal rate making process over the past 10 years. This is not just a concern for our mailing service provider members. Every Idealliance member could be impacted by any changes to the rate making process. Idealliance will provide on-going information and updates regarding this process. Be assured that Idealliance is actively involved and is committed to representing our members' best interests as this process moves forward.  

    I'm attaching a copy of a "Joint Motion For Modification of Procedural Framework" that proposes a well-considered process and sequence to effectively manage the path forward. It's important to note how many of our colleague associations have signed on to this motion. It's great when all stakeholders are on the same page. 

    Take a moment to review the attached paying special attention to the six suggested process steps contained on page 5.
