  • 1.  C1060: 6-up rack cards on 13X19

We are trying to print full bleed 4X9 rack cards 6-up on 13X19, 120# coated cover stock on our new C1060, and we are having problems with washed out printed on side 1, at the top edge of the image.

Does anyone have a) a good template for this? b) know settings to use that will make it print good quality right up to what is supposed to be only an 1/8th inch no print zone.

    Thank you.

Try to change the voltage or secondary voltage settings. I usually have success with negative secondary transfer voltage setting

Here are the settings I use on my 2070 for 13x19 16point. I take out gutter out of the middle when it is imposed to help it out

    Hi Dave -

The C1060 is only rated to do up to 300gsm (which is usually equivalent to 111# Cover). Please check your gsm on the paper package otherwise you may get poor results. Also the trail edge of thick stock (long grain) can have issues with full bleed, try to see if you can push the image closer to the lead edge for Simplex jobs and to the center for Duplex jobs. I agree with the previous responders that you may need to change your transfer voltages for the second side with thick media.

    Best regards,

Well first of all the stock you are running is out of Konica specs. what you are experiencing is a know issue with the 1060 & 1070 pertaining running heavier stocks. Basically when you set your tray to say a 217-256 gsm range. at a tray level the you have to change the voltages to the 2nd transfer pressure roller or something called that. Place a service call and talk to them about this. I expect this is a problem you are having on the backside of a duplexed sheet?
