We've got 2 Nexpress and an older HP. The Nexpress are workhorses, we average 2-3M clicks / mo. Much less downtime than the HP. The biggest problem with the NP is streaking in flat tint screens and solids. The HP's I've seen have very good quality but too much maintenance and downtime. Oversize sheet feeder on the NP is a problem, HP and Xerox models that feed long sheets out of a drawer are much more efficient.
We've done a lot of research on most of the true production boxes out there. The best quality / performance combination I've found are the iGen 4 and 5. Very good, consistent print quality and repeatable color. Low cost of operation too. You should take a look at some samples to compare. Best to ask all of them to print a sample file that you provide.
