We are working with a client on an ongoing basis to send out custom tags to their customers. These tags have a unique NFC chip in them. The client now sees the need to append the unique NFC chip number to the client's data record. 

We are thinking through a process of scanning a 2d barcode on the fulfilled package that would pull up the record from the database, then we could read/scan the tag and have that data appended to the client record. In some cases, multiple tags would be assigned.

Does anyone have a resource that may be able to help brainstorm this and provide us with the software or tools we would need to accomplish this?

We are looking for a solution immediately, so please let me know if you can help of if you have some ideas of those who might be able to.

Nice, glad to see some activity on NFC.  Depending on your needs I would check out Buy NFC Tags, Software & Hardware - GoToTags Store and see if they can help, I have bought from them in the past and had good experiences.

I have always wanted their reel to reel encoder but never had enough demand for it, might be a good fit for this application.
