    Hi All,  I tried to purchase 2 rolls of Presorted FC Peel and Stick Rolls of Stamps and was told they had been discontinued and or replaced by 3000 rolls of lick and stick stamps.  Im thinking there smoking something at the Post Office..  Does anyone know anything about this?  thanks for your help  cp

    They are correct, no more 3000 rolls.  I call it motivation to sell more live stamp work.

    We have found the same thing. Don't understand it. 10,000 rolls are available. Does not seem to be the case with Standard or Nonprofit.

    I'm thinking they have it programmed incorrectly in there computer.  Are there any postal employees that monitor this group that can check it out   I'm not sure my machine can hold a roll of 10,000!

    I can't believe it but the Post Office confirmed they NO LONGER HAVE PRESORTED FIRST CLASS IN ROLLS OF 3000… I often wonder what they are thinking at the USPS.. Does anyone know of a machine that moistens stamps coming off a 3000 roll. I can't imagine it.. Wait till they get stuck with a gazillion stamps no one will use……. cp

    Here's what we found out thru our USPS - directly from "retail" in Cleveland District -

    I reached out to the Stamp Production Team and here is their response, "We believe this to be a rumor. We do not have any plans to no longer offer the 3,000 rolls of First Class Presort stamps."

    This is the response i received from my contacts:

    Good Morning Steve –

    I have checked with our Stamp Production team and at this time, there are no plans to discontinue printing coils of 3,000 First Class presort stamps.  Unfortunately, I don’t have information available regarding the decision to move from water activated to PS.  Hopefully we will additional information soon regarding this.

    That is interesting, Kristin, though I'm not entirely sure how removing duplicate records or merge/purge relates to rolls of stamps. However, I am quite certain that many of the wonderful products offered by the Idealliance software provider community are capable of removing duplicate records and offer powerful merge/purge functionality. I would urge everyone to please work with the solution provider of your choice to learn more about how you can leverage all the features and functionality they provide.

    Please keep us updated. The 3000 coils they have in the Tampa area are water activated. The Tampa Requirements people are very adimate that the PS 3000 coils have been discontinued. Thanks for any help you can give us.. cp

    I think they have that backwards. I was told 2 years ago that I couldn't get moister stick stamps in rolls.
