In 2016, Idealliance, with Association Partners, AMEE, ACMA, NAPM, and PostCom, launched a survey of the mailing industry. The purpose was threefold:
· Gain a better understanding of customer-facing programs and services – what were key priorities for improvement from the industry's point-of-view and...
· Gather feedback and insights on the mail supply chain to enhance the industry's competitiveness and to improve our partnership with the US Postal Service.
· To repeat this survey on an annual basis to track trends, measure improvement, and identify current issues as our industry's landscape continues to change.
Andy Paparozzi, Idealliance's Chief Economist, has taken the lead to develop this year's survey with the active participation and guidance from Idealliance's mailing working groups and industry partners. We need the participation of leaders in all segments of our industry's supply chain including mail owners, print and mail service providers, related logistic and transportation suppliers, and software providers. You are the voice of the industry and your input will help shape our industry's future.
This year we sought and received assistance and feedback from US Postal Service leadership as we developed the survey format. And, we added the Envelope Manufacturer Association (EMA) as an Association Partner in the important work.
