    Hi all, HNY. Having trouble printing text in 0 / 0 / 0 / 60 on our KM 1085. There's a noticeable gradient from top to bottom of the text. It's been hard to shake, techs and specialists haven't been able to point me in the right direction. Any thoughts?

    We don't have that model, so I can't speak to that specific issue directly, however we have a KM C7000.
    We had shifting colours, and had to change the image settings from Line(1 or 2) to Dot1. 
    It doesn't have the same crispness to it as Line does but the colours didn't move around on it.

    Hi Jonathan we have seen issues with color from one side of the machine to the other not even. Not sure if this is what you are seeing or if it a little different.
     
    Let me ask a question is it one letter you are seeing the shift in or is it a field of copy you are seeing the shift in? How big is the type you are seeing this shift in? Is the shifting both directions top to bottom and right to left?
     
    We print a test every Friday on all of our K&M machines 50% of each color plus 10%, 20% 30% mix of 4 colors. 50% checks even screen tints across the sheet and looks for voids and imperfections. the mix of each color show me were may gray balance is. Our service department does not love these but it allows us to print very large (full 12 X 18) solids cleanly. Please remember your machine id designed to print 4 color process printing only one color is not allowing the machine to print to its best potential.
     
    The test we print we made because some techs don't run the built in screen test that shows these issue.
     
    We use K&M Direct and have always had this issue solved if it is the same issue we have had.
     
    We have had 6500 now we have 2- 7000's and a 1060 plus a 950 B&W overall very good machines.
