Thanks for emailing the news to me the other day, Bruce. Joe and I were not close, but we had quite a lot of interaction over the years, most recently in discussions about having him supervise a book printing over there. I hosted him when he came to Sonoma County a few years back. It was a hot summer day, so we took a lazy drive up the Valley of the Moon, stopping at a winery or two before finishing with a beautiful long lunch up in Kenwood. Joe had a personality now increasingly rare in business: He was possessed formidable knowledge of his field but didn't throw his weight around; in fact, he was a gentle and uncomplicated guy. I had looked forward to working with him and am really sorry he's gone. I hope those of you who knew him will post some remembrances on the funeral site. I'm sure it would mean a lot to his family.
Mike

Subject: Joe Pasky passing
I was sadly informed last week that Joe Pasky passed away on November 18, 2018. Thought I'd post this to the G7 groups a some of you might have known or crossed paths with Joe over his lifetime. He and I had become good friends as have was making some inroads with our SpotOn! products in China. He will be missed.
