Collect the raw data on the affect it's having on the process to validate your process change if it comes to that. Get a consensus from a team based approach on solving the issue. I'm not familiar with the poly plate or the issue but shouldn't be too hard to resolve. Providing a successful process for the Pressman should always be the foremost that in process. They should only have to run the press. Get the plate manufacture to assist In the resolution as well. Always leverage your partnership to assist. Creates a winning collaborative environment for all.

Subject: Advise on Mitsubishi Digital Poly Plates having curl from Quicksetter 300E for Heidelberg Printmaster QM46-2
We purchased recently a used Heidelberg Printmaster QM46-2 press, which came with a Quicksetter 300E direct to plate system. We started using the Quicksetter recently because our old DPM #2340 has been having issues. Our problem is that the Mitsubishi poly plates have a curl and is difficult for our pressman to load the plates on the automatic clamp for our QM46-2 press. Any advise how other printers deal with that issue would be helpful?
Thanks,
Steve Steinberg
