I just did my scans and sent in our G7 information to RIT using the same chart TC1617 scanning with i1i0 into iProfiler and verifying with Curve3. I do not have curve 4 so I cannot read directly into Curve. Have you tried to use i1Profiler to scan the charts in and then import into Curve? Preferably Curve3 to see if there is a difference between the two versions.
I don't see why this would make a difference but they may use a slightly different algorithm to process the information between the two programs.
From what I understand, and I could be completely incorrect, the P2P is much easier to pass due to the fewer number of patches available to pull information (weigh?) from and that is why the it8.7/* is also necessary for RIT when submitting the P2P charts.
This may not help or tell you what you want to hear, but I just ran our charts on our Epson 9900 and Scitex HP15500 digital UV press using the TC1617 charts only with the i1i0 and iProfiler.

Subject: TC1617 or Curve 4 Problem
I'm having a problem getting the TC1617 to pass after G7 Calibration on press. My P2P Targets pass no problem, when I read in the TC1617 I get a fail in the Weighted Delta CH, the TC1617 and P2P's are on the same sheet right next to each other. The test form I am using is set up just like the 40" Idealliance test form with the TC1617 in the middle and 1 PTP target on each side of it. Iv'e done several Press calibration's (on 2 different presses) recently within my company and all have had the same result.
Using i1I0 2 with Curve 4, and have read directly into Curve 4 with i1I0 and get the same results.
Is this some kind of a gitch?
