Hi all - need some feedback if  you can.
Please see the attached calibration reports one from last year and one from this year - I am trying to do my first recertification. Of course, we ran into a problem with our ink manufacturer - they changed the magenta pigment. I think the magenta is the only problem - but can any of you review and let me know what you see as well.

We are a flexo printer and are currently trying to match our last year cert.
Any feedback or instruction would be very helpful.

    Thanks everyone!!

    Hi Barbara Enlow,
The substrate, C, M have changes in parameters. But I think you haven't done G7 calibration with Curve4, if calibrating G7 with other software may not be as expected

Good Morning Barbara, I am not seeing an issue with the Magenta, but the Cyan "L" value is lower/darker. Last year it was 54.68 and this year I see you are getting a reading of 52.59 compared to your target value of 55.38.

    Hi Barbara Enlow,

In my opinion you need to reduce the density of C.
Change the anilox on less transfer or add brightener.
If you have solvent paints, reduce the viscosity or add lightener.
You can also experiment with the printing speed.

    Hi Barbara,
as indicated by other people, you can try to reduce the C, this can help to have a better result on the solid C, and maybe you can improve the overprint C+M and C+Y that in both of the case are bluish. After that you need to adjust the calibration (the actual curve for the Cyan is really different from the previous one).
Pay attention on the very dark area (400) this can be worse, because at the moment is yellowish an green if you reduce the cyan it can be more yellowish...
What about the print color sequences?
